Matt started Mega Watt Electrical in 2008 with the help of his wife Kelly. Matt and Kelly saw an opportunity to do more fulfilling work, and decided having their own business would allow them to do that. They started out as sole traders and decided to become a single company when they saw massive growth in their first 8 years.

Matt and Kelly were invited to one of the business workshops hosted by Cindy Drake and decided that a business coach would be able to help them with the finer details of their business. They chose Cindy because they felt a genuine connection and they thought she understood their needs wholly.
A key positive change Matt and Kelly made to their business was shifting to computer-based management of finances and staff where systems integrate. This meant they could automate the payroll, appointments and other important elements that previously had to be done independently. They were also able to streamline their hiring process.
The future goals for Mega Watt Electrical are to grow their team even more, and allow Matt to spend more time to focus on building client relationships. Matt and Kelly are confident now that they have the necessary platform to grow their business successfully.
